Welcome to my new Blog!
Hey everyone! My name is Ember Rain and I am the author of Ivy Transformed, The Royally Divine, and Twist of Fate. I also have a small short story in an anthology called Metaphysical phenomena.
I am starting this blog for readers to stay up to date with me and my current W I P's.
To catch everyone up. I'm Ember Rain, I am an author of a couple paranormal titles at the moment, but plan to expand into other genre's as well. I wrote my first book and learned how tough writing a book truly is. There are a ton of things you'll do wrong along the way. I started as an author by making a big mistake straight out of the gate. My debut was a book one of a trilogy. I couldn't have anticipated the things that came up after releasing my first book and then the book two took a back seat. Sure, I tried to write the book. I wrote book two of this trilogy over 5 times and then turned around and deleted and started over. I had been through enough and had to do something different. I wrote a shorter book that was supposed to be in an upcoming anthology. I loved the book I wrote for the anthology. The characters were fun to write and I found myself immersed in an entirely different Idea of how I planned to bring that same fun energy into my second book for my trilogy. I plotted the book out completely different and began writing. Now I am here and book two is releasing May 9th and I couldn't be more proud of the work I put in on the edits in the previous month leading up to this release. I am preparing this website, my new logo, teasers, and formatting my paperback because I am going to be signing in Midland, Wisconsin in August! I have never had a more real motivator than a signing right around the corner.
What are my plans moving forward?
-Let me see. I might write another medium-sized book and hope to release it prior to the signing, or I could focus on my logo, this website, and promoting the three books I already have released. I would like to be able to do both:)
Anyway while I am busy putting together my book packages and setting things up to celebrate. Take a chance and give my new blog a follow:)
